The DSMCM Grid Team realizes the project Application of computational grids in optimization of structures. The project is finansed from the Resources of Polish Science Budged for the years 2005-2008 under grant no 3T11F00929.

The project goals:

  • Jobs scheduling inparallel evolutionary algorithm coupled with parallel FEM.
  • Mathematical functions evolutionary optimization by using computational grid.
  • Mathematical functions classical optimization by using computational grid.
  • FEM analysis with use of computational grid.
  • BEM analysis with use of computational grid.
  • Implementation of programs and tests of optimization by using MSC.Nastran, MSC.Marc for fitness function evaluations.
  • Identification by using computational grid.
  • Optimization of structures dynamically loaded by using computational grid.
  • Optimization of termomechanical structures by using computational grid.
  • Optimization of crash problems with use of MSC.Dytran and computational grid.
  • Optimization in fluid-structure class of problems with use of MSC.Dytran and computational grid.
  • Optimization of structures using BEM and computational grid.
  • Design and implementation of GUI for end-user allowing easy access to grid resources.
